Plants are classified into 2 major groups i. e. flowering plants as well as non- flowering plants.

·                  Some plants attain flowers as well as are called flowering plants e. g. orange, apple, wheat, rice, rose   etc.

·                  Some plants don’t attain flowers as well as are called non-flowering plants e. g. ferns, conifers etc.

·             All non-flowering plants don’t attain seeds. Conifers are the non-flowering plants that attain seeds. Their seeds are non covered alongside fruit. They commonly accept needle-like leaves.
