Bellary Shamanna Kesavan (May 10, 1909 - Feb 16, 2000) was the kickoff Librarian of National Library (independent India) (1947-1962). He is likewise known equally Father of Indian National Bibliography equally it was kickoff brought out nether his leadership on August 15, 1958. Later, he became the kickoff Director of the Indian National Scientific Documentation Centre (INSDOC) at New Delhi (1963-1969). In recognition of his groovy service to the nation, the Government of Bharat honoured him alongside Padma Shri inwards 1960.
