Henri La Fontaine (22 Apr 1854 – xiv May 1943), was a Belgian international lawyer in addition to president of the International Peace Bureau. He received the Nobel Prize for Peace inwards 1913. Paul Marie Ghislain Otlet along amongst Henri La Fontaine created the Universal Decimal Classification (UDC), i of the nearly prominent examples of faceted classification inwards 1905.
